When dinosaurs roamed the Earth
Stand in the shadow of mighty T. rex… look way up at Gordo, the enormous Barosaurus… or take in a fight scene between Gorgosaurus libratus and the awesome, plant-eating ankylosaur Zuul crurivastator (destroyer of shins). Recent renovations in Autumn 2025 have opened and expanded the gallery, adding more than 3,500 square feet of space, offering gallery-wide sightlines, and increasing the number of iconic dinosaurs on permanent display. With more specimens to see, and a bigger space in which to see them, the dinosaur galleries are sure to be a highlight of your Museum visit.
Showcasing one of the world's best dinosaur collections, hundreds of specimens welcome you to a gallery bursting with iconic and unusual dinosaurs, fossilized plants, insects and marine life. At the time dinosaurs lived, they shared the planet with other life on land, in the sea and in the air. Trace the development, relationships and legacy of all creatures that lived during the Age of Dinosaurs.
